“About two hours into a heated meeting about the possible construction of a recreation center on Brown’s Chapel Park, Deb Pestronk managed to voice some of the frustrations of each side of the debate.  She said the proposal outlined for the recreation center at Brown’s Chapel should be shelved because of its “ridiculous financial cost.” After audience members shouted that she should ignore her time limit, Pestronk went on to recommend that a new committee be formed with representatives from both sides of the debate to try to come up with a solution they could all agree upon and “that won’t bankrupt the community.”
